I am a professional  Make-up Artist for  the Film and Television Industry.

I’m originally from Portugal. I’ve settled in Sydney Australia since my early teens. That’s where I call home these days. Lived and worked in Canada and USA for many years while following my heart’s passion.

I’ve created “A More Beautiful Make-up” blog, as a platform in which I wish to share my knowledge and experience of my many years  in the business. Being it the  tips and tricks  of the trade or what you should have in your make-up kit, “on-set etiquette”,  how to breakdown a script, designing and create individual looks for a movie or television show, budgets and lots more while doing it all with a smile! Enjoying every working day to the last fake lash.

Continuously educating myself in the Makeup and Beauty Industry has led me to having a very  extensive  Beauty library! Books from famous photographers, Makeup Artists , Designers, Fashion Creators, Cosmetologists, Beauty Columnists and many “Life” magazines, Vogue, Happer’s Bazzar, Vanity Fair etc etc etc.

Searching   the internet for the greatest and latest, leads  me to many  beauty blogs, an extensive online articles and discussions… My finds I will  share in this blog, mixed in with my opinion and experiences.

I hope that within these pages I’ll  inspire  those who want to become Make-up Artists or, if you simply want advise on what color eyeshadow best suits your eyecolor… therefore  creating a community linked by a common passion and interest…MAKEUP and BEAUTY the Healthy way when we can….
