Sucker Punch is about the hit the cinemas …25th of March is the day.
Of all of the films that I’ve designed Sucker Punch was by far the most creative, adventuress, and scary!!!:) Inspired by the 60′s makeup fashions, and the Japanese Aname and Manga style of cartoons, we got to work in July 2009
I love working with Zack Snyder (director) for so many reasons, one of them is the freedom he allows me to have when creating the characters of his movies…He loves Make-up and “he’s not afraid” so in the world of Glamor, colour, eyeliner, lots of lashes, crystals, glitter, sequins and big hair, we had the most fun and amazing time…
Big thanks to my crew, who worked so hard and inspired me at every step of the way. Vanessa Giles, Leah Ehman, Naomi Hirano, Christopher Pinney, Debbie Lelievre, so many other very talented Vancouver Make-up Artists, that day after day gave their best work so Sucker Punch would look as great as it does…Many Many thanks…<3<3<3
The girls, Emily, Abbie, Jena,Jamie and the Lovely Carla Gugino, were a delight to work with, everyone was very excited about their look, they collaborated and had input into their characters make-up designs…

Those babes look amazing! Had no idea what that movie was about. Go figure.
I’m going to the Sucker Punch Ball in Vancouver on Thursday night – can’t wait! And yes, of course I will be in full costume and makeup. I’m using the looks you created for the five women as inspiration. Love them.
What brand of false eyelashes did you use throughout the filming of Sucker Punch? I need to have them ;o)

I saw this movie over the weekend and was totally drooling over the makeup! Can you please tell me what products you used to create the eye makeup for Emily and Jamie? Thanks and love your work!
I loved all the makeup looks in this movie! They were amazing!
Maybe you could give us some tips in how to reproduce them!
Thanks a lot

Please please please do a breakdown for the looks in this film! The makeup stood out to me immediately and I’d love to be able to recreate the fantastic looks you created!
